About this project
We built the house from the ground up in face brick, with plastered bands, a terracotta roof and wrought-iron balconies on the upper floor.
Inside, a face-brick archway leads into the kitchen, with its granite island and a cooking alcove framed in face brick. The living area has an indoor braai and built-in cabinets, and a tiled staircase with a steel balustrade leads up to the bedrooms. Outside, brick garden walls and a paved patio under a pergola surround the pool.
